Government of #Assam has opened up more activities outside Containment Zones.


 

GUWAHATI: In a fresh set of guidelines issued by the Assam State Disaster Management Authority, the Government of Assam has opened up more activities outside Containment Zones. However, strict enforcement of lockdown in Containment Zones remains in place till 31st October 2020. 



Social / academic / sports / entertainment / cultural / religious / political functions and other congregations have already been permitted with a ceiling of 100 persons outside Containment Zones only.Such gatherings beyond the limit of 100 persons may be permitted outside Containment Zones by State Government only after 15th November, 2020 and subject to conditions.


Educational institutions will open in a graded manner, as directed by the government of India.



Swimming pools will be permitted to open with effect from 15th October, 2020 for which the SOP will be issued by Sports & Youth Welfare Department in consultation with H&FW Department.



There will be no restrictions on inter-State and intra-State movement of persons and goods No separate pass/ permits etc shall be required for the same 



Cinemas/ theatres/ multiplexes will be permitted to open with up to 50% of their sealing capacity in areas outside the Containment Zones only with effect from 15th October, 2020. 


Entertainment parks and similar places will be permitted to open with effect from 15th October, 2020 for which the SOP be issued by Department of Health & Family Welfare.



Business to Business Exhibitions will be permitted to open, in areas outside the Containment Zones only, with effect from 15th October, 2020 for which SOP will be issued by the Department of Industries and Commerce. 



International air travel of passengers is not allowed, except as permitted by Ministry of Home Affairs.
